On October 27, the 16th College Student Resume Making Competition of Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology was held in Room 418 of the Complex Building. Liao Bijun, deputy director of Admissions and Employment Office, and all staff of this department together with the senior HR supervisor of Blue Moon Group were invited as judges of the competition.

This competition aimed to promote all-round development and instruction of employment and entrepreneurship work of our Institute. By helping students improve the ability of making resumes and finding jobs, this activity can facilitate students in their career planning according to the needs of employers and find good jobs more easily.

On October 17, the resume-making competition was launched officially. After the preliminary round and the semi-final, 15 outstanding candidates who were selected by the schools and the senior HR professioanls competed in the final. Each candidate was required to briefly show their achievements and introduce the composition and characteristics of the resume design within 5 minutes, according to which the first, second and third prizes were awarded in terms of their scores given by judges.

Deputy Director Liao made closing comments about the activity. She said, with increasingly fierce employment competition in the current epidemic environment, companies’ employment standards and requirements tend to rise high, thus only a good resume can get a precious interview opportunity among competitors. She also offered suggestions and expressed her wishes to all participants.

第十六届大学生简历制作大赛落幕

10月27日，广州理工学院第十六届大学生简历制作大赛在综合楼418举行。招生就业处副处长廖碧君、招生就业处全体老师应邀出席，蓝月亮集团资深HR和招生就业处全体老师担任本场比赛评委。

本次大赛旨在促进学校就业创业工作的全面开展，进一步加强对大学生就业创业的指导，提升毕业生简历制作水平和就业能力，帮助大学生根据用人单位需求，调整职业规划，确保学生“好就业”“就好业”。

10月17日，简历制作大赛正式启动，大赛分为初赛、复赛、决赛三个阶段，通过二级学院评审团筛选出优秀的简历参加复赛，复赛选手于10月25日经过资深HR的专业点评，最终选出15名表现优秀的选手进入决赛。决赛由每位选手在5分钟内简要展示成果、简单介绍设计简历的构成和特色，选手们各尽其才，各显神通，通过多维度、多角度凝练自身亮点，讲解思路清晰。选手展示结束后，将由评委老师对其点评，然后根据选手得分进行排名，诞生一、二、三等奖。

副处长廖碧君对本次大赛做总结，在疫情当下，就业环境竞争愈加激烈，企业在用人需求趋于高标准、高要求，一份好的简历可以在茫茫人海中获取珍贵的面试机会，对各位同学制作简历提出宝贵建议；最后感谢各位参赛选手的积极参与，希望在未来的道路上，同学们最终都能书写出属于自己的精彩履历！
